  • Your private, secure virtual visit typically can be completed in under 30 minutes. 
  • During your visit, you will have a video or phone consultation with one of our board certified providers. 
  • Based on the consultation, your provider will provide a treatment plan and prescriptions if necessary.

  • Can I get a prescription if needed?

    Yes, medications may be prescribed if your provider decides this is the right course of treatment. Prescriptions will be sent to the pharmacy of your choice. Certain controlled medications may not be prescribed through Miami Beach Urgent care virtual visits.

  • What do I need to start my visit?

    You need a secure internet connection and phone, tablet or computer with a camera and microphone.  You might also need your insurance card and form of photo identification.  Click Here to Register

  • Are telehealth visits safe?

    Miami Beach Urgent Care uses a patented system to make sure every video visit is HIPAA compliant, secure and confidential.

  • How old do I have to be to have a video visit?

    Telehealth visits are available to anyone age 1 and above.

  • Can telehealth visits be used for all types of care?

    There's a lot of care we can provide over a telehealth visit, but you'll need to still come in person for physical exams and lab work.


    Treatment For:

    • Cold and flu-like symptoms, including:

    congestion or runny nose

    cough

    sore or scratchy throat or difficulty swallowing

    loss of voice (laryngitis)

    fever


    • Sinus infections or sinusitis
    • Back pain
    • Upper respiratory infections, such as bronchitis
    • Seasonal allergy symptoms
    • Cold and canker sores
    • Skin conditions, including: 

    bug bites 

    cellulitis 

    eczema 

    hives or rashes (If you’re also experiencing breathing difficulty, please seek immediate in-person medical care.)

    During your video visit, your provider will decide if it's best to see you in person.  If this happens, you may be directed to visit us for further evaluation and treatment.  



  • How much do telehealth visits cost?

    Telehealth visits are often the same price as office visits.  Insurance coverage varies, and services may be subject to any applicable copays, coinsurance and deductibles within your health plan.  Please call your insurance provider for more information on your specific plan coverage.  We offer discounted self-pay telehealth visits at a flat-rate of $140

  • What if I need follow-up care?

    Depending on the level of care required, your provider could recommend you schedule another telehealth visit, request that you visit us in person, or refer you to a specialist or other healthcare provider if additional follow-up care is needed.  In any event, you may schedule a follow-up visit at any time or simply walk-in into our clinic.
